E320 Sedan. More power, less fuel: the BLUETEC diesel engine. The V6-engine in the E320 BLUETEC Sedan produces 210 hp and 388 lb-ft of torque, so you can be sure that economical driving is highly enjoyable. The uncanny smoothness of this engine can be attributed to the Lanchester balancer shaft and extensive damping. Extra smoothness is added by the standard 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission. A newly engineered catalytic converter and a series of specialized filters help to minimize emissions. With the added fuel economy of the diesel engine, it helps ensure that the environmental impact of the E320 BLUETEC is minimized.

SLK 280. A good sports car is responsive. A great one borders on telepathy. The SLK 280 feels your need for speed and responds with its 228-hp 3.0-litre V-6 engine. The SLK is the only model in it's class capable of converting from a hardtop coupe to an open-top roadster. Press a button and in just 22-seconds, find yourself at one with the elements. The electro-hydraulic vario-roof moves backwards in a single elegant motion and disappears into the rear of the car, out of sight. Thanks to the intelligently designed folding mechanism, the SLK is able to offer significantly greater trunk space than its predecessor when the roof is lowered. When the roof is raised, the tinted glass has a pleasant cooling effect, while at colder temperatures the heated rear windshield gives you a clear view to the rear.

SL 550. The SL-Class experience opens with a V-8 engine under the hood of the SL 550. Its 382 hp catapult it to 100 km/h in a mere 5.4 seconds and the 391 lb-ft of maximum torque is available between 2800 and 4800 rpm. The cylinder heads have been redesigned from scratch: timing of the two intake and two exhaust valves is taken care by continuously variable camshaft adjustment to optimize combustion of the fuel. Not only does this increase the engine's power output, it reduces its consumption and emissions too.
