Norman Howe, Co-founder of DreamCarTravel and erstwhile Owner of Horizon & Co., has also been many things over his long and colourful career. He was originally seduced by the life of the mind while studying jurisprudence at Oxford, but after a near-death experience practising corporate law and an even more harrowing exposure to the halls of academia, he abandoned all pretence and began a sustained and intense pursuit of pleasure in the employ of Butterfield & Robinson. Having exhausted all of the potential boondoggles and job opportunities at B&R (including effectively running the place), he became a co-owner of Horizon and started re-inventing Canada's leading boutique travel company. Steve Wilson, itinerary developer, operational guru, chief salesman, contract negotiator, experienced guide and erstwhile senior trip planner at Horizon & Co., has focused on one thing only over the course of his short career - figuring out how to live well. He is yet another alumni of the Butterfield & Robinson school of hedonism, and parlayed her guiding skills into a sustained 5-year stint living in a 16th century walled village in rural France and spending most of her free time biking and walking through some of the most expensive vineyards in the world (when she wasn't drinking Premier Cru wines and eating Michelin-starred meals).
